here are the steps which i have tried but all in vain
1) created a bootable usb with Ubuntu 18 iso using rufus with default settings
2) installed Ubuntu but after completion black screen appeared on selecting Ubuntu
3) after searching on google i installed nvidea latest drivers and kernel but still freezing on login
now the black screen is gone but it still hangs after login, sleep etc so i cleared my Ubuntu partition but i am stil seeing grub loader in which i press exit to load windows
now i am having two issues
1) i cant dual boot ubuntu except adding nomodeset
2) grub loader is still showing up in boot options after clearing partition
i need some serious help on this because i've been trying to resolve this for some days and nothing is working as i want windows for games, entertainment and ubuntu for coding etc .
